A Smack of Reality.

This is actually happening. I'm where I want to be, doing what I want to do. I'm learning so much day by day Thanks to Nathan. As a teen, I've expected work to be stressful, annoying and everything but FUN but having Nathan and Emily by my side has changed my assumptions COMPLETELY. We get our jobs done, but we have fun while we do so. I really couldn't ask for more.
Our Candle business is improving and I'm striving to make this business BIG! I want to be receiving emails requesting more candles, giving positive feedback, I want it all! and I'm sure Emily does as well. With the two of us, we can make this business a real one and with Nathan on top of it all, HA! I have no doubt.
Everything is just coming to me left and right but I can't complain, I'm loving every minute of it.

Hard work leads to success.
I'm working hard to be successful.

MY TURN by Nathan "Seven" Scott.

I got the HONOR to read this book before it even got published. I can't stress how much of an excitement this was. My eyes would not close. Every page kept me wanting more! My interest never faded. My Turn is SPECTACULAR!

there's nothing not to Love about this internship.

Each and every day I step foot into this office, there's a smile on my face. I love it here and I love what I do.
I'm overcoming myself with goals and dreams. Delightful Dolls was an incredible idea but what Nathan has planned for us is even better! I can't wait to start on what can be the next big thing. The short period of time I've spent here at We Work has showed me enough to know that I can become success by setting a goal and reaching it. It's also about who you know and We Work is definitely the place to Network. and that is exactly what I've been trying to do.

Hopefully, by the time my internship is over I will be ready for big and better things. Something that others my age aren't ready for. Because the experience and knowledge that I'm gaining as time goes by is incredible.

have I mentioned that I love this internship?

My First Day

As a new intern, working with Nathan, I already feel like family. But even better, I already feel successful. It's only been 2 days and I love my job, I love the atmosphere, I love Nathan and I love the fact that I get to work with one of my closest friends, Emily. She was the reason I got this internship in the first place and I thank her with my life! She will probably never understand how much I appreciate this.
I go back to We Work tomorrow and I've never been so excited about something in my Life. The plans that Nathan, Emily & I are putting together are extravagant and I just can not wait to pursue all the goals we have set for the future. I'm truly honored to have this opportunity, which is opening up so many more doors for me.
When I grow up I just want to be successful and I know this is the beginning.

Working with my friend

So on Monday (August 8th) I told Nathan about my awesome friend Natasha and how she wanted to know she she can get an internship with him so he told me to tell her to come see him on Thursday (today). I told Natasha the news and she was super excited and thankful that I put a word in for her. So we met up at Longwood Ave and chatted the whole train ride about how awesome Nathan and everyone in the building is and she took in every word. When we got to the building I introduced her to Nathan and Josh. Nathan interviewed Tasha and they hit it off from what I saw. She was hired the same day. I was super excited because I needed a playmate in the office so badly and Tasha couldn't have been a better choice. I showed her around the building and how to do the rounds she learns fast and caught on. Well continuing with my story Natasha and I had a good day and she loved being in the building after her first day. And I'm excited that Nathan wants to keep her. Talk to you guys very soon.

Bye Bye

So today is my last day as an intern at WeWork through the Career Development Forum. That means I won't be getting paid but the hell with that I plan on staying an extra two weeks!!! Nathan is totally awesome and one month with him just isn't enough for me!!! I plan on working for Nathan for as long as I can. He's a walking Gem and I hope everyone that knows him notices that. I do want to make money while I'm here but I'm pretty sure Nathan is already thinking of a way for me to do that already. It was a bitter sweet feeling this week knowing that I was going to leave today. But then Nathan asked me to stay and I was super excited and accepted the offer right away. I hope that you future interns do EVERYTHING he says because you can never go wrong with his advice. He's awesome, I'm awesome and today was a crazy awesome day. Later dudes and Bettys

So long . . .

So today was Melissa's last day as Nathan's assistant. She'll be going to the 5th Avenue location on Monday August 1st. I wasn't happy about it at all. Although I haven't known Melissa for long, she still made me feel at home when I was around her. Melissa is cool, smart, funny, and fun to be around. Nathan wasn't here on her last day but we managed with out him. The day was extremely busy but we pulled it off because we're so awesome! Well that's all folks until next time.
